In addition, it is my privilege to be able to offer you the chance to book my services as a Classical Concert Pianist or as an entertaining Speaker/Raconteur, who can also play the piano a bit! Concert PerformerI am available for public or private concert performances.In a career spanning over 50 years, I have played with all the major British orchestras and worked with many famous conductors, including Bernard Haitink, Georg Solti and Malcolm Sargent. Tours abroad have taken me to Canada, the former Soviet Union, Italy and South America. In the U.K. my list of BBC broadcasts includes chamber music with string quartets, piano trios and horn trios as well as numerous solo recitals. I played at the commemorations of the 200th anniversary of Mozart’s death in Salzburg and Capetown; and also for HM the Queen and HRH Prince Phillip at Balmoral Castle. Speaker/Raconteur/MusicianI have a great deal more to offer in the shape of talks about my life in music and, in particular about my unique experiences as a student in Moscow at the height of the cold war!! These reminiscences are interspersed with both music relevant to different periods in my life and some unique musical anecdotes.You might therefore want to book me as your after dinner speaker/raconteur/musician.
